Bharti eyes $10-b revenue by next year, unveils new logo

Bharti Enterprises is on track to have revenues of $10 billion by next year, its chairman and group CEO Sunil Mittal said on Monday while unveiling the group’s new brand identity and logo, its third since its inception in 1995. The Bharti Group had revenues of over $6 billion at the end-March 2008. Despite its failure to acquire Africa’s largest telco MTN earlier this year, Mr Mittal said that Bharti continued to be open to acquiring foreign telcos while adding that it had not identified any possible targets yet.
