WB govt confirms: Singur project is over

Finally the game is over; Nano, small car project will be out of Singur. West Bengal government has finally confirmed Tata’s Nano project will be out of Singur. However, official declaration is not made till the report is filed. Speculations became ripe after it was reported that the Tatas have begun moving equipment from the plant in Singur in West Bengal to an unspecified facility following a deadlock in talks between state authorities and the protesters.
